Q4: how language is used for effect


  • 16 marks - 24 minutes 
  • find 3 - 4 examples in each source 
  • make comparisons: write about language in source X, use a connective, then write about a similar/different use of language in source Y 
  • identify vivid language and linguistic techniques 
  • make developed inferences / analyses of these quotes.
